These Website Terms of Use (“Terms“) govern your access to and use of JumpstartFirstWords.com and GrowthSpurt.org and any related sites operated by Monetize Growth Inc.—including, without limitation, GrowthSpurt.org, JumpStartFirstWords.com and any future properties—together with all sub‑domains, mobile versions, e‑learning portals and associated services (collectively, the “GS Sites“). For simplicity, Monetize Growth Inc. is referred to as “GS,” “we,” “us” or “our.”
By visiting or using the GS Sites, enrolling in courses, purchasing products, downloading content, joining communities or otherwise interacting with GS, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the GS Sites.
1. Eligibility and Account Security
1.1 Minimum Age
You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use the GS Sites. If you are under 18, you may use the GS Sites only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian, who accepts these Terms on your behalf.
1.2 Account Information
When you create an account, you must provide accurate, current and complete information and keep it updated. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use or security breach.
2. Intellectual‑Property Rights
2.1 Ownership
All content on the GS Sites—including text, graphics, logos, videos, audio, course materials, e‑books, worksheets, software and code—is owned by GS or its licensors and protected by intellectual‑property laws.
2.2 Limited License
Subject to your compliance with these Terms and any applicable purchase terms, GS grants you a limited, revocable, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable license to access and use the GS Sites and any purchased or free content for your personal, non‑commercial, educational use. No other rights are granted by implication or otherwise.
2.3 Trademarks
“Growth Spurt,” “Jump Start First Words” and related marks and logos are trademarks of Monetize Growth Inc. You must not use such marks without our prior written permission.
3. User Conduct
You agree not to:
Violate any applicable law or regulation.
Upload or transmit viruses or other malicious code.
Interfere with or disrupt the GS Sites or their servers.
Harvest or scrape data from the GS Sites without permission.
Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation.
Post content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, hateful, harassing or infringes intellectual‑property rights.
4. Purchases, Subscriptions and Billing
4.1 Prices and Taxes
Prices are in U.S. dollars unless stated otherwise. Applicable taxes (e.g., VAT, GST/HST) are calculated at checkout.
4.2 Payment Processing
Payments are processed by third‑party providers (e.g., Stripe, PayPal) and are subject to their terms and privacy policies. We are not liable for payment errors caused by those providers.
4.3 Subscriptions and Auto‑Renewals
Automatic Renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the interval disclosed on the checkout page until cancelled.
Cancellation. Cancel anytime via your account settings or by emailing help@jumpstartfirstwords.com or help@growthspurt.org at least 24 hours before the next billing date.
Price Changes. We will provide at least 30 days’ notice of any price increase. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

5. Disclaimers
5.1 Educational Purposes Only
All content on the GS Sites—including information provided by our expert Kate Farr, MSc‑SLP, R‑SLP, SLP(C), PC, and any other credentialed professionals—is for general educational and informational purposes. It does not constitute medical, speech‑language pathology, psychological, legal or other professional advice.
5.2 No Professional‑Client Relationship
Your use of the GS Sites, including participation in workshops, coaching programs or group calls, does not create a therapist‑client, clinician‑patient or other professional relationship between you and GS or any of its representatives (including, without limitation, Kate Farr, MSc‑SLP, R‑SLP, SLP(C), PC). No diagnosis or individualized treatment is being provided. No Professional‑Client Relationship
Your use of the GS Sites, including participation in coaching programs or group calls, does not create a therapist‑client, clinician‑patient or other professional relationship between you and GS or any contributor. No diagnosis or individualized treatment is being provided.
5.3 Seek Professional Care When Needed
Always consult a qualified healthcare provider for questions about your child’s health, speech or development. Do not disregard or delay seeking professional advice because of something you read or heard on the GS Sites. If you believe you or your child is experiencing an emergency, call emergency services immediately.
5.4 No Warranty
The GS Sites and all content are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, GS disclaims all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non‑infringement.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, GS and its directors, officers, employees, contractors and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, data or goodwill arising out of or related to your use of the GS Sites. In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you paid to GS in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations of liability for personal injury; the above limitation may not apply to personal‑injury claims.
7. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless GS and its affiliates, licensors and service providers from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses or fees (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms or your use of the GS Sites.
8. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. You consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Vancouver, BC for any legal action arising from these Terms.
Arbitration Option. At GS’s sole discretion, any dispute that can be resolved by arbitration shall be settled under the rules of the BC International Commercial Arbitration Centre. Judgment on the award may be entered in any court with jurisdiction.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Effective Date” will change accordingly. Material changes will be announced (e.g., site notice or email). Your continued use of the GS Sites after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
